Libertad Des Moines is a 40 unit permanent supportive housing development that provides affordable homes as well as on site services for its resident Iowa families. Bring It Home provided rental assistance, as well as a grant for a community garden.
Shannon is the Grandma of a young childโboth blind and deafโwho was living within the foster care system. Libertad made it possible for Shannon to become her grandsonโs sole caregiver in a home all their own.
